PTA audit documents and proposed budget 9/9/19

In advance of Tuesday's PTA meeting, I wanted to send out the proposed PTA budget, and the results of the audit conducted over the summer. We will go over these and vote on them at the PTA meeting. I've also include a treasurer's report that includes our expenses and income from over the summer.
Hope to see you on Tuesday!

PTA Calendar corrected for early release dates 6/22, 6/23, and 6/24

Hi all!

I have confirmed with Ms. Anselmo that Campbell is NOT following the schedule reflected in the official APS calendar for the last week of school. Here's the correct Campbell schedule (as sent out by Ms. Nesselrode last week):

June 22, 23, and 24 are all Early Release Days for Campbell (the rest of the county only has June 22 and 24 as Early Release Days). We have conferences on June 22 and June 23 in the afternoon.

Note: the school calendar on the Campbell school website does not currently reflect the correct early release days, because it's showing the APS calendar.

The easiest way to stay on top of important school dates is to subscribe to the APS and PTA Campbell school calendar.

100th day of school

The 100th Day of School will be this Thursday, March 3.  Elementary schools often recognize the 100th day as a way to help young students develop number sense.  We are asking students to wear as much of their favorite
color as they can. For example, wearing a red shirt and pants.  Classes will use the colors to create data in a grade appropriate manner.  Our hope is that this would not require families to purchase any items.    Just a reminder that March 3rd
is a half day due to conferences.

Book Fair Now Open

The Campbell Book fair is now open and classes have begun making wish lists. You may send in money with your child or come to the school to purchase books. In addition, teachers have compiled wishlists for the classrooms. If you are interested in purchasing books from teachers' wishlists please find these books in the Story Room of the Campbell Library. Thank you for all your support!
