To kick off the spring garden work day season, we tried out a Sunday afternoon for the first time on March 15, 2015. It was a great success. We started at 3:00 and by 4:15 had accomplished so much! We wrapped up by 5:00 p.m. What a productive two hours with so many hands pitching in!
Our October Garden Work Day gave us gorgeous weather. We had a lovely morning with lots of help from the children who joined.
We focused on the beds in the K-1/Art/Gym area known as the Monticello Garden because its apple trees are from Thomas Jefferson stock.
We harvested lots of beautiful carrots from the two beds on the grass.
Join us on Saturday, April 20, 2013 for an afternoon of fun to raise money for curriculum enhancements, our Wetlands Learning Labs and other PTA activities.
Activities include guided tours of our wetlands, earthday crafts, a scavenger hunt, refreshments and our Wetlands Silent Auction.
