What is Project Discovery?
Does your child dance around the house? Examine every leaf and flower? Yearn for more time in art or music class? Project Discovery, Campbell’s PTA-run after-school enrichment program, offers opportunities to explore these and other interests outside of the regular school day, while hanging out with old and new friends. Dedicated to providing engaging and meaningful after-school learning activities at an affordable and reasonable cost, it is made possible through strong community partnerships and PTA scholarships.
When, Where & Who?
Project Discovery holds two sessions—in the fall and spring. It typically runs for six weeks, with each class meeting at Campbell once a week from 2:45-4 p.m. Classes for the Fall 2018 session will run for six weeks, on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, beginning Wednesday, October 3, and ending Friday, November 16. (There will be no classes on October 10, 25, or 26.)
All Project Discovery classes are led by qualified professionals, who are sometimes parents and teachers found within our own Campbell community! All instructors submit background checks and are cleared through APS.

Register for Project Discovery
Option #2: Paper Registration
To register by paper, please complete this Project Discovery Enrollment Form [English] or Formulario para la Sesión de Otoño de 2016 del Proyecto de Descubrimiento [en Espanol] and return it to the Campbell office, along with payment, by 3 p.m. on Friday, September 14.
All registration requests received by 3 p.m., Friday, September 14, will receive equal consideration. If the number of registrations exceeds the number of spaces available in a particular class, we will hold a random lottery to enroll students. Payment must be submitted with your registration.
Project Discovery is run and subsidized by the Campbell PTA. Families pay $80 for the first class, $65 for the second (a second-class or sibling discount). **Volunteer to help with Project Discovery student check-in one day a week, from 2:25-3 p.m. and get a guaranteed placement and a $25 discount off one class.**
If you qualify for free or reduced lunch and need financial assistance, you may request a reduced fee for one Project Discovery class, per child. The reduced fee is $25. If you would like to register your child for more than one class, you must pay the full amount for any additional classes.

Odyssey of the Mind
