Who Are You Guys Again?
We are the parent-teacher association for Campbell Elementary School in Arlington, Virginia. We have a bunch of members (there's always room for more, of course), but here's the contact information for our officers:

So What Do You Do, Exactly?
Simply put, we assist the teachers and staff in making Campbell a more conducive place to learn. That includes sponsoring extracurricular activities like garden work days, school dances, movie nights, and picnics. We also support in-school events like field trips and tea parties in the library. Finally, we assist teachers with professional development and work to improve the physical building and grounds of the school.
Sounds Great! How Can I Help?
We were hoping you'd ask that! There are plenty of opportunities to volunteer with the PTA. Check out the Get Involved section to find an activity that interests you. If nothing listed interests you - well, first off, MAN, are you picky! Secondly, feel free to recommend an activity yourself. The main reason we don't offer any additional activities is that no one has stepped forward to (1) suggest it; and (2) volunteer to coordinate it. Just get in touch with any of the officers listed above, or fill out the Contact Us form on this site.
In addition to people power, the other resource we always need is the money to fund all the activities we want to offer to the school. We have set a goal of raising $2,500 in donations by December, followed by another $2,500 by June for a total of $5,000 for the year. This works out to less than $15 for each student in the school. If you wish to make a donation, you can hand in cash or checks (made out to Campbell PTA) in the lockbox in the front office, or through the convenient donation form located on this site.
